Overview:
This project aimed to create a fully autonomous exploration rover able to transverse lunar settings and gather material to points of interest.
Results:
Developed a fully autonomous navigation system stack and a secondary telerobotic protocol using a 8-closed channel radio control.
Designed a robust electrical assembly able to handle 4 High Discharge Batteries with an interactive power logging GUI.
Role Objectives:
Build navigation system using a LiDAR, IMUs and other positional and control sensors.
Develop and maintain the power distribution system.
Come up with redundancy protocols for each subsystem.
